The night of August 3, 2025, saw Palaye Royale take the stage at Dresden’s Alter Schlachthof, delivering one of three exclusive headliner shows in Germany that summer. Around 750 fans packed the venue, drawn by a shared enthusiasm and the magnetic reputation of this Las Vegas-born art-rock trio.
Opening Act: The Molotovs
Kicking off the evening were The Molotovs, a young British garage-rock trio featuring twin brothers Mathew and Issey Cartlidge. Their set was a high-energy, adrenaline-fuelled whirlwind—you could feel the pedal was glued to the floor from song one. While their relentless drive was undeniably exciting, by the third or fourth song their sound began to feel repetitive, prompting many in the crowd to relax in the foyer with a drink. Still, their performance served as an invigorating spark to set the tone for the night

Headliner: Palaye Royal
Once Palaye Royale launched into “Death or Glory” — the title track from their 2024 album “Death or Glory” — the energy in the room soared. From the get-go, the band captivated fans with a potent mix of glam-rock swagger and theatrical flair. The setlist was dynamic and perfectly paced, featuring 14 songs culminating in an encore with “Lonely.” Fans were utterly engaged, cheering and singing along from start to finish.
